our agency pug, mabel, has made it to the final 16 of the K9 magazine contest. top vote getter gets to be featured in the autumn '05 issue of the magazine. mabes is a very very talented copywriter, and in fact so good she's been chosen our creative department mascot. she could be such a b*tch however coz she only comes to the office on average 3/4 times a week and yet gets all the praise from clients. nevertheless, please do vote for her if you have the minute to spare. just dont mind the other cuter dogs in the contest though. just vote for dog #8, our very own mabel.

in more serious/worthwhile matters, i am in the middle of organizing a christmas party with detained children in the philippines. for now, the party is set for december 19th, monday at the molave youth house in quezon city. it should be a great fun day with (at most) 210 children. if you're interested in volunteering, getting sponsorships and donations, helping with the arrangements, and basically celebrating the joy of christmas with the children, shoot me an email and i'll make sure to keep you posted with details and developments.

in more capitalistic/artistic ventures, the documentary we're working on in the office is making progress. was in the middle of 2 calls with directors this afternoon to discuss their treatments. martin bell, calling all the way from london, is keen on getting the best actors for the video. vance malone, calling from portland oregon, is focused on telling the story by making the most of the locations. although my personal pick is martin bell, i have a strong feeling that vance will end up as the one chosen (due to very tight budget constraints). no complains though coz if that be the case, ill most probably be flown over to portland for a week for the shoot/production first week of december. i hear they have great bars, er nature, out there.
