dela-change-of-pace-ware
on the chinatown bus now heading back to the big apple after a surprise weekend visit to family in delaware. was a weekend well spent. nice little change of pace and environment.
took a few runs out. nice rolling paved hills with matching deer crossing the road out of nowhere. welcome change from crossing the street in the city with cabs coming out of nowhere and somewhat having a personal mission of running you over. nice dinnertable meals with family complete with GP-rating conversations since the 2 kids are around. onl\y F word thrown was felafel. and maybe fruit juice.
riding the audi to get to places instead of the L train or the schwinn. being able to sit myself infront of a television instead of fulfilling the need to be actually doing something. tons of snacks in the pantry and fridge if i want it instead of having to go to the corner deli to satisfy a junkfood craving. acres and acres of greenery and houses with yards instead of avenues of highrise buildings and apartments with balconies (if lucky). extremely clean and spacious house instead of occasionally extremely clean and spacious enough for one person studio. nice little change of pace. quite good in keeping oneself active and alert. pushes ones boundaries.
now the new yorker is starting to kick in again coz this effin woman infront on the cellphone is starting to piss the hell out of me. jesus joseph and mary get a phone booth. or at least speak in english.
now where was i? oh, delaware. yup, it was good. realized after 36+ shots on my oktomat, that there wasnt any film on the camera after all. good job. got to speak with family back in manila over the phone as well. that was good too. anyway, that's it for now. this taking out my powerbook here on the bus to type my thoughts is getting bit obnoxious.
but not as obnoxious as this woman on the phone though. enough, enough. let me take care of business.
