1800-buckwild

after 11 months of absence from the city, the great il cone hit the big apple once again for vacation. for a whole week, the city's energy was a notch higher; it's beat a hop faster. in his visit, the dutchman brought back the meaning and life of places like cafe esperanto, the starbucks @ the square and 7 other locations, cafe gigi, luca lounge, mercer kitchen, cascata italiano. cafe deville, the serafina bar and lots others. the buckwild amsterdamner, with his zest and humour (and appreciation for life) unmistakably dutch, once again gave the city an important lesson on the necessity of living life (and not taking one's order of starbucks tall mocha to go).

if you happen to spot il cone, call 1800-BUCKWILD. the greatest city in the world gone less happy badly needs his presence and attitude. he was last seen wearing a maroon "habana" shirt. he'll probably be wearing the same shirt when you see him. he currently roams the streets of amsterdam. and rumor has it that he's eyeing a visit to malaysia and the philippines some time 2006. $100,000 reward for any tips leading to his capture. but of course, that's just BS. the city won't really pay that much. 5 dallas maybe.
