ongoing projects

office photoshoot

personal projects are moving but as usual, ive bitten off more than i can chew. but no worries, im nowhere close to choking. yet.

office projects — been working on the tv commercials the past week. was in atlanta and charlotte 3 weeks ago for market research. we brought in 5 storyboards to test and it's been narrowed down to 3. and 2 of those mine and my copywriter partner's. been busy the past week with camera in hand taking photos of officemates as stand in for talents. quite tiring to be all over the place but good nonetheless coz i get to practice my directorial and photography skills. was in the studio this morning for voice recording. quite fun to be involved in the whole process of commercial production. im supposed to fly out next week for testing in baltimore but would need to miss it coz im flying to manila instead for the holidays. but of course, they've assigned yet another office project to me—a 2-3 minute video for mid january with obviously a very tight deadline. how come i always get to work on the fun shit!?! ha...

christmas project — christmas party in manila for the 19th which ive been arranging through email is moving quite very well. we've gotten the food, drinks, entertainment and presents sufficiently covered (but not fully locked in but im sure it'll be taken care of). we've gotten a fair amount of sponsorships/help—nestle, unilever, jollibee, gardenia, coke, ciudad the band, the ateneo high school glee club. should be a nice little party. well, not really little coz there's probably going to be a total of at least 220 people there. the more the merrier. and the greater the fire hazard.


time to party-hearty project — the most important of all. the getting myself into some trouble and action project. the parties and reunions are lined up for manila. that's always good. the office holiday party was supposed to have been today but got cancelled due to weather. which made everyone in the office a bit pissed and rebellious so we had an extended lunch (company-expensed but of course) and a nice round of shots after. and got back in the office only to discover that it was happy hour and so the beers were flowing once again. and but of course, there was the after work drink out with officemates as well. nice nice.

anyway, gotta get rid of this wooziness. otherwise im funked on my bus trip to delaware very early tomorrow morning.
