successful homecoming party

the young ones in full party force

was a great ateneo homecoming party last night. was very well attended. around 120 were there, at least a third of those, us young ones. felt quite good seeing the kiddies in attendance coz that was what i was brought into the organization for anyway—to bring the fresh blood into the fold.

the food wasnt bad. the booze was great and cheap. the live band fantastic, and of course after a few songs and beers everyone was dancing. well not everyone everyone. but at least most everyone. enjoyed my role of introducing everyone to everyone. after a few glasses of johnnie, must say, im quite the friendly host. not that friendly though coz i wasnt sharing the secret stash under the core group table.

but anyway, was a good night. of course, the older officers were already building me up as one of the future presidents of the association. but obviously i havent told them of my plans of partying elsewhere in maybe 2 years. spain maybe. salud!

had the first snowshower of the season today. sheesh, back to walking through all that slush again.
