the worst day ever

no wonder i was feeling really out of sorts yesterday—turns out that in a study conducted, january 23rd is scientifically the most depressing day of the year—

ok, ok. yesterday wasnt really that terrible. i did feel bad about needing to skip lunch and not being able to send out my daily barrage of personal emails coz of the deadlines to beat in the office. plus, staying til 9PM in the office wasnt reason to cheer me up either. but the day had it's good points though. needing to stay late in the office meant having a nice free salmon and salad dinner (the salmon was bit overcooked though). and getting home "late" forced me into biking around the neighborhood to counterbalance the all-day sitting in meetings and infront of the computer. though my knuckles and face froze from the bike ride, it was a great opportunity nonetheless to discover some nice cafes and bars in the area.

but enough whining about yesterday (im starting to sound like those dutchies whining about the cellphone system here in the states. ha..). got myself registered into 2 weekend classes at the nyu sports center today—racquetball and yoga. the classes will run for the next few months so those should be good to keep myself active and able to meet more people.

i have a book launch to attend tomorrow night at the art directors club. plus another meeting after that for a concert planned for may. thursday, more dutchies invade the city. maybe some gallery hopping that night with officemates and random friends. friday and saturday, ive promised to take the dutchies around so that should be good. plus, ive got a few personal projects ive been meaning to finish but i haven't found the time.

once again, enough whining. maybe if i end this blogging now and work on those instead, ill get somewhere. good idea. good idea.
