im back to my hallmark sweatshop duties again in the office. today, i finished 2 of the 1000 birthday cards i need to make. we'd been missing birthdays almost all of the past month so we've decided to surprise everyone with one grand party next week instead. oh shit, did i just spoil it by posting it here? but anyways, it's good to have small fun projects like these to break the flow of regular concepting work every 5 minutes or so. especially of late that it seems id rather be working on a new personal book, really. and even moreso that my slr is now fixed and good to be used and abused again. but there's always time for everything so no worries.

the illusionist

finishing early enough at work, i had the pleasure of being invited to an impromptu movie plan by my copywriter partner. i had hoped to go running actually but considering i had left my shorts at home, movie night it was. and it ended up a good choice. the illusionist did not disappoint. not that i thought it would, considering its producer came up with crash & sideways. it was a good entertaining film.

tomorrow should be another interesting day in the office. have 2 afternoon meetings where i need to present some ideas for upcoming campaigns. not that im done doing them of course. but first things first. i do have a rush card id like to finish for an officemate who's leaving to go to NYU for a master's degree in music. we'll see how that goes. but i dont see how it can go wrong. the going away party at brass monkey is already set. een biertje alstublieft. uno cerveza por favor. let me get a hoegaarden please.
