hola from españa

the jointman has landed. well since saturday actually. and so far so great. its been the great adventure i had been hoping and more. lots of funny, bit uneasy (ie did that guy just get punched in the face?), awe-inspiring, and world-expanding moments. bit sucks that i cant upload any photos here in the computer at the hostel. but will do once i can. for now, just wanted to let everyone know that i got here safe and sound (even had 3 seats for myself to lie down on from the trip to new york and paris).

mj, friend from manila who´s based here in españa has been a great tour gide, host and translator (so i havent been that punked so far with my un poquito knowledge of the spanish language). ive seen a quite a bit in an afternoon of madrid, explored all of amazing is-this-a-set-or-are-we-on-location? toledo by foot and by tram and gotten a taste of "suburban" and very local feel ciudad real.

im spending the next 2 days on my own exploring the lively streets of madrid. tomorrow a walking tour, a museum visit, and bullfight is on the docket. and wednesday night i hit amsterdam. looking forward to seeing il cohen and el4ra again. can´t wait. for now, mi go to plaza mayor to comer. mi starving already. adios amigos.
