blood and germs
blood. finally overcame my fear of blood and needles and decided to donate blood yesterday. it was really physically painless although i guess i was just not psychologically prepared for seeing all that blood. (especially when the old man donating before me had blood dripping all over his arm. the needle must've slipped, ouch!) i guess i was looking pale by the time the whole ordeal was over coz the nurses kept on asking me whether i was good or not. i must've appeared as though i'd seen a ghost. but anyway, that's done and the pint of blood i gave will be replenished. energy's back in full force. and at least next time i decide to donate some of my red cells, platelets and plasma, i know what to expect. if you get a chance—it's really not painful and your donation goes a long way—donate blood.
germs. kuya germs is hosting a new york get-together this saturday! (well, the lack of blood must had gotten to me last night, and i totallly forgot that i was jason pacheco and not kuya germs. but anyway,) if you have friends, filipino or non-, who are based in new york, tell them that the master showman, kuya germs, will be hosting Krystal's Ball: Kainan, Kuwentuhan, Kumustahan 2005 this saturday. everyone's invited.
